GX CAMPAIGNS

Fair Trade, Fair Treatment
The Chocolate industry is marred with child slavery, environmental degradation, and a cycle of poverty with no end in sight for cocoa farmers and their children. BUT, there is a solution: Fair Trade!
Freedom From Oil
If the US auto industry was a country it would rank 5th in Global Warming polluters!! Making our cars and trucks go farther on a gallon of gas is the greatest single step we can take to prevent wars for oil and reduce climate change.
Local Green Economy
"The only real antidote to corporate globalization is the local green economy." Building local, equitable economies is central to displacing the structures that give corporations power over people and the planet.
Mexico, Trade & Migration
What drives almost 500,000 Mexicans to immigrate to the United States every year, leaving home for a risky and uncertain life abroad? Wasn't NAFTA supposed to make widespread immigration a thing of the past?
Peace: Stop the Next War Now
Global Exchange’s Peace Campaigns are inspiring creative actions to expose the real cost of war, challenge war profiteering and military recruitment, and build people to people ties to displace the dangerous myths about Islamic identity.
Sweatfree Communities
Global Exchange is part of a national "sweatfree" movement to guarantee that our tax dollars do not support factory abuses or underwrite worker exploitation.

More About Us

CODEPINK
Global Exchange’s sister program, CODEPINK: Women for Peace, is a national, women-led peace group that uses creativity, humor and its signature color, pink, to end the Iraq war.

Right to Travel: Cuba
Since 1989 Global Exchange has played a leading role in the effort to normalize relations with our neighbor, Cuba. Our primary goals are to get Cuba removed from the US list of potential terrorist countries, end the US embargo on Cuba, and end travel restrictions between the US and Cuba.
