Report Back: West Coast Climate Convergence
This week, the West Coast Convergence for Climate Action wrapped up 8 days of low-impact living and high impact action in Oregon. During the event - co-sponsored by GX and friends - 400 youth participated in dozens of workshops: from learning about community organizing to dirty energy projects increasing greenhouse gas emissions. On Monday, the Freedom from Oil campaign's "Oil Enforcement Agency" came out in full force for two large demonstrations against fossil fuel expansion in Portland! [learn more]
